What is Ping Pong Palooza?

"Ping Pong Palooza" is a special (because particularly nice) open air table tennis tournament for everyone between the ages of 8 and 99. In addition to the sound of ping and pong and boom, there is music, space to chill out and have a chat. And it's free.

When and where will the tournament take place?

On June 15, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. at Bürgerhorststrasse 9 in Neustrelitz.

How does the tournament work?

We play in parallel in several groups on several tables. You may be familiar with the game principle from the Soccer World Cup. Whoever comes out of the group stage with the most points then plays against the best players from the other groups in a knockout system. The best two players of the day then play in the final to win the tournament.

How long is the tournament?

If everything goes smoothly we will celebrate the winner with a "Ping Pong Hooray" not much later than 4 p.m.

How much does it cost to participate?

We want everyone to be able to take part. That's why participation is free. If you can, please put something in the donation box that we set up at the tournament. All donations go to projects at the table that we organize with our non-profit organization.

Do I have to be a table tennis professional to participate?

No, players of all levels are welcome. When registering, you can choose between two ticket categories, based on which we can assign you to a relatively easy or a technically challenging group.

Is there food and drinks available on site?

There will be some snacks, fruits, cakes and drinks for a donation. Of course you are free to bring your own food and drinks as well.

How can I participate?

You can buy a ticket here on the site and secure your starting place. As we have limited places, please be fair and return the ticket in advance if you are unable to take part.
